STYKU is a revolutionary 3D body scanner which has the ability to take measurements from 28 different points on the body, predict body fat and muscle mass.

As a FTG member you’ll be able to track and assess your progress regularly using our STYKU machine giving your more accurate and more results you’ll be able to recognise.

Produce reports that are saved to your personal account, and access them via email or app to refer to.

BUDDY TRAINING

What is Buddy training?


Buddy training is a form of personal training for those who want to achieve a similar goal together whilst sharing the cost.
Private groups can be between 2&4 people when the group shares similar capabilities and goals. Each client will be given an individual plan that is suited to them both with nutrition advice and lifestyle and activity.
Training with like-minded individuals, friends or family members can give you extra motivation and ensure you’re accountable to more than one person to stay on track!

It creates a fun, motivating and competitive environment!
Goals will still be set and progress will be tracked to ensure you stay on track!

Intense Workout

Group Classes

 

FTG fusion

FTG Fusion is a combination of both Barre and Pilates. Dance and functional fitness training. We incorporate isolated movements through a full range of muscle to tone and strengthen muscles and elevate the heart rate and sequences of dance through both upper and lower body.

TRX

 

Trx is a suspension trainer which allows you to utilise your own body weight to create movements for the whole body. By using your own body weight it means that multiple muscle groups need to be engaged therefore optimizing core strength and engagement and increase cardiovascular response.

Our sessions combine strength movements in a more isolated form and aerobic movements to raise the heart rate. The benefit of using the TRX is how efficient one equipment can be, the body awareness you create and improve and the fact that equipment is easily adjust to accommodate for all levels of ability.

FTG MIX

FTG Mix was developed from the feedback of our members wanting to incorporate both elements of aerobic high intensity workout, with strength and endurance movements of a circuit or strength class.

Generally speaking Mix classes usually consist of half HIIT and half strength or circuits. Creating an engaging well-rounded workout for those that want to dip into a variety of different aspects surrounding overall fitness

CIRCUITS

Circuit training is a full body balanced workout, which incorporates resistance based strength movements through multiple repetitions allowing the heart rate to be raised. Circuits use a range of equipment all where possible with a beginner, intermediate and advanced option. Although Circuits can be a challenging workout, the classes are generally made up of timed intervals. Making it possible for each individual to work at their own pace.

OUTDOOR BOOT CAMP

A range of different exercise in a group setting surrounded by the outdoors. Boot camps are designed to be challenging and create comaradory between participants through mixing traditional methods of group exercise with team-based drills. Each session is unique and can be delivered through a range of formats.

KIDS CLASSES

Our kids classes have proved very successful due to our beliefs on what children should be learning from a young age. A variety of different components that involve health & fitness. Our classes combine a mixture of fun moving activities, including games, obstacle courses, basic martial arts, gymnastics and exercise-related movements.

MOTOR SKILLS

These sessions will help children to improve a wide range of motor skills essential for all sports and general life. Motor skills include co-ordination, reaction timing, agility, power & speed.

FOUNDATION

The mixed variety allows our kids to ‘taste’ a range of different activities that they mat not previously have tried. MINIMAL IMPACT

One of the key benefits to Pilates is that impact, for example jumping, running and landing is taken out of the equation making it a more suitable class for those recovering from an injury, new to fitness or some particular limitation.

A class made up of both technique based drills, sport specific conditioning and pad work. Boxing provides a fun & different way to get your workout in whilst learning or improving important skills.

DIVERSITY

Boxing is considered a much more entertaining way of getting your heart rate going motivating those who participate to give extra effort. Boxing is also one of the few methods you are able to raise your heart rate predominantly through your core and upper body giving you the opportunity to rest your legs if needed.

A controlled and low impact class which focuses on technique, compound movements and improving strength. During strength class you can expect to have more time to work within your sets and manage your own intensity. Strength is essential to preventing pains and discomforts within the body and during our classes we programme to strengthen every movement pattern our bodies can create.

PAIN MANAGEMENT

Strength is very important towards preventing injury and pain. Ultimately if we are conditioned to deal with more circumstances of every day life, we significantly reduce the risk of pain & injury. An increase in strength can also work towards improving muscle imbalances and weak areas again reducing the risk of injury or aiding the relief of pain.

MUSCLE DEFINITION

Improving strength is arguably the most effective way at increasing muscle and therefore improving muscular definition. Whether you’re training for endurance or pure muscular strength you’ll inevitably increase muscle tissue.

EVERYDAY FUNCTION

By improving your strength you’ll gain more confidence and be able to perform tasks at a higher level or optimum function. This can be translated to many examples from just picking your child up to improving sports performance.

Kettlebell Workout

A challenging and intense aerobic workout that’s going to challenge your cardiovascular system most of our sessions. High intensity interval training sessions are designed to create large calorie expenditure and challenge your body metabolically.

IMPROVE YOUR CARDIO

Working on HIIT can improve your resting heart rate, bloody pressure, and aerobic output. It can be used as a method to train your CV system in a time efficient way whilst reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Due to the intensity of the workout HIIT sessions often produce a higher rate of calories burnt therefore proving to be an effective way of loosing weight or burning fat.
